Machining with high pressure coolant, cryogenic coolant, atomized coolant spray are the latest techniques investigated by the researchers to improve the productivity. Researchers and industries have performed the work on various aspects of machining using high pressure coolant to enhance its applications. The effect of machining parameters, tool geometry, coolant type, coolant pressure, flow rate, coolant concentration, coolant jet direction on surface finish, dimensional accuracy, tool wear, tool life, forces, chip and burr morphology, tool and work piece temperature, wear mechanism during machining of different materials has been studied so far.
