Science has promoted several research projects to provide a comprehensive response to SARS-CoV-2 infection (COVID-19). In this scenario, Dr Franco, Dr de Carranza and Dr Bustamante, and the other researchers of the Internal Medicine Department of the Hospital Universitario Infanta Leonor-Virgen de la Torre in Madrid, Spain, have carried out studies to understand the behaviour of this virus, particularly in the thrombosis area, and the search for new potential lines of therapy. This book brings their main works of research.
