Dr.P.S. Joanna is currently pursuing her career in the Department of Civil Engineering at Hindustan Institute of Technology, Chennai as Professor.She has completed her  Master's Degree in Structural Engineering and  obtained her Ph.D. degree in the field of Structural Dynamics.Her research areas includes sustainable materials,  structural dynamics and reinforced concrete structures. She has published 35 research papers in indexed journals and 30 papers in conference proceedings. She has been  granted with two international patents and one Indian patent.   10 research scholars have completed their Ph.D. under her guidance and also she is the reviewer of many  Elsevier journals.
