P.

Dr. P. Balamurugan received his Ph.D in Economics from Bharathidasan University in 2008.  During Ph.D, he received Jawaharlal Nehru Scholarship for Doctoral Studies in India for the years 2004 & 05.  He was UNCTAD Post Doctoral Fellow at University of Allahabad for a year.  He worked as Research Associate for five years at Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM), New Delhi.  He was Sir Ratan Tata Trust Visiting Fellow at Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC), Bengalure in 2009.  He was a Finalist for International Development Research Centre (IDRC) – India Social Science Research Award (ISSRA) 2009.  Since 2013, he is working as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN), Thiruvarur.  For his academic credit, he has published three books, has published research papers in reputed journals, has contributed chapters to edited books a
