Erika Mae G.

Erika Mae G. Canlas is one of the authors of Kapampangan: A Regional Language Endangerment. She is currently a fourth-year College student taking up Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English at Systems Plus College Foundation in Pampanga, Philippines. She was born and raised in Porac, Pampanga and is a native Kapampangan speaker. As a Kapampangan, she is concerned about the endangerment of her Amanung Sisuan (Mother Tongue). Due to that reason, this study was produced to determine what concerns to focus on to preserve, nurture, and alleviate the possible extinction of their native language.
