So the search for energy-generating resources has received attention from governments and scientific research institutions. For reasons related to production costs, sustainability of production and the lack of environmental pollution resulting from energy extraction from its sources. Renewable energy sources have gained wide focus and attention because they are environmentally friendly, cost-effective and low compared to traditional energy sources such as oil or coal and other species, and are also sustainable. Given that the energy problem is an important problem in Iraq, this book provides a study to evaluate the possibility of using wind energy as a renewable energy for producing electricity in as Samawa city, south of Iraq.
