Description
Biorefinery technology contributes to promoting the realization of the Paris Agreement, China’s achievement of its carbon peak, and carbon neutralization. Biohydrogen production is considered to be the most environmentally friendly biochemical conversion method and is being widely studied. Photo-fermentation biohydrogen production is a promising biorefinery method. Photo-fermentation biohydrogen production has long hydrogen production cycle, stable hydrogen production rate and high substrate conversion efficiency, but requires additional light. The influencing factors of photo-fermentation biohydrogen production were studied in detail and optimized by response surface methodology. Optimal conditions were determined as initial pH of 7.14, light intensity of 3029.67 lx, temperature of 30.46 ℃, and material to liquid ratio of 0.21, respectively, which resulted in a maximum SHY of 110.51 mL/g TS.
