This is a research-based book written to analyze the role of some sectors of Bangladesh, particularly the insurance business, banking sector, share market and macroeconomic variables for her economic development. This book will give directions to the stakeholder. There are four chaphters in the book.The first chapter indicates the prospects and problems of Sadharan Bima Corporation-the only nationalized general insurance company in Bangladesh. The second chapter comprises two papers. The first one discusses the relationship between liquidity and financial performance indicators of the Banks in Bangladesh. And second one provides comparative performance analysis of third-generation conventional and non-conventional banks in Bangladesh.
