The immense amount of satisfaction that a medical professional obtains on saving his critically ill patients is unmeasurable. It takes a disciplinary and systematic approach where highly morbid patients battling life -threatening conditions can be delivered from imminent death. It was proven in a study conducted at a tertiary care hospital in India. The study prospectively aimed at monitoring the application of six simple yet vital parameters synchronously in the patients who landed with sepsis due to various underlying reasons. The patients presented with a myriad of symptoms , all pointing towards one diagnosis : Sepsis. All of theses patients had one thing in common . They were sick , were rapidly deteriorating and presented with symptoms of shock. The patients those who were subjected to resuscitation by following the Sepsis Six Pathway within the initial hours of admission could be salvaged and saved from mortality. The impact of using the sepsis six pathway can be well appreciated in the present study.
