Henry

Henry Dyer grew up in Lautoka City and attended Drasa Avenue School and Ba Provincial Secondary School. He was recruited to Airport Soccer Club by President Bobby Tikaram and played his first game for Airport against Blues Soccer Club at Nadi Sangam School Grounds in 1981. He played for Nadi Soccer Association in the 1982 IDC Final; played for Lautoka in the mid-1980s; and then returned to Nadi. He had a successful period in the Fiji national team; and was a star on the field in Fiji’s 3-0 defeat of Newcastle United (England) in May 1985. Today he serves as headman at Nakavu Village, Nadi Town.
