Alexander J. Bělohlávek is professor of international law and professor of international economics, currently on the Department of Law on the Faculty of Economics Technical University in Ostrava and on the Department of International Law on the Faculty of Law University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, Czech Republic. Former President of the World Jurist Association in Washington D.C., USA and former member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration in Paris/France. Attorney-at-law in Prague, Czech Republic. His main topics are private international law and civil proceedings, international arbitration, international law, civil law and company law. Vice-President of the International Arbitration Court at the Czech Commodity Exchange and listed as arbitrator with more than 30 permanent arbitral institutions. Author of more than 150 books and over 400 other publications.
