Akihito Kikuchi is a Japanese physicist. He received his Ph.D. degree in science from University of Tokyo. He had worked in Institute for Solid State Physics at University of Tokyo. Currently, he is a researcher of a private company in Japan. His research interests include various themes: theoretical physics; first-principles simulation in materials science; symbolic computation; computer algebra; materials informatics. He is the author of the book "Computer Algebra and Materials Physics: A Practical Guidebook to Group Theoretical Computations in Materials Science" (Springer, 2018).
