The author is an ophthalmologist specializing in cataracts and retinal diseases. He has done his M.B.B.S (2015) and M.D. Ophthalmology (2019) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi (Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences). He is currently working as a senior resident in cataract, vitreoretina and retinopathy of prematurity services in the same hospital. The author has numerous publications in various indexed journals to his name. He is also an editorial board member in International Journal of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences.
