Mannada Karunatilake, BA (Hons.) in Archaeology, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, Exchange Fellow (HUSTEP) Hokkaido University, Japan. She is an individual researcher, former lecturer (temporary), Department of Archaeology, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, and a freelance Artist. She has expertise in technical drawing and illustrating artifacts and findings. Her research interests include indigenous archaeology and ethnoarchaeology. Her research area, mostly references South Asia and East Asia, indigenous people like the Veddas in Sri Lanka, and Ainu people in Japan and Russia.
