Galuh Widyastuti, S.K.L. is a graduate of honor of the University of Indonesia who specialized in Environmental Health (Public Health). She has multiple interests in science, sustainability, the environment, and genetic engineering. With a tremendous passion for research at a young age, she was a notable Gold Medalist in the world’s biggest genetic engineering competition: International Genetically Engineering Machine (IGEM) 2018 by bringing up an invention for Diphtheria and helping to tackle the nation’s late outbreak. She was actively speaking at many international conferences/events about her research and projects within the environmental health and sustainability aspect, such as Harvard College Vision Global Health, Amsterdam International Water Week, and many more.
