Dr. Le was born in Vietnam and pursued higher education in the United States. She lived in Texas and earned a Ph.D. in Educational Statistics from the Southern Methodist University. She is currently working as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Notre Dame. She researches developing mathematical and statistical models to analyze stealth assessment data to determine if teaching methods are effective in improving students academic achievement, or enhancing student learning, understanding, and explanation in science. This book is her Ph.D. dissertation. The goal is to encourage educational researchers to use the causal inference approach when working with binary outcome in mediation and moderated mediation.
