Shampa

Dr. Shampa Chakraborty received her Bachelor degree in Chemistry honors in 2002 from Burdwan University, followed by Master degree and PhD Organic Chemistry (Supramolecular chemistry) from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Howrah, India. Her areas of research interest include molecular recognition, supramolecular chemistry, organic synthesis and methodology. In 2014, She moved to Ohio State University, USA and worked in a project on supramolecular chemistry entitled “Synthesis of Molecular Baskets for Nerve Gas Agents.’ In between she also worked in TCG Life Sciences Ltd.
