Gas analysis has been used in various fields such as industrial use, environmental measurement, forensic science. Analytical instruments, for instance, GC, HPLC have been used as precision methods. These methods are sensitive, specific, but their size and design are not suited for field operation and are costly. For these reasons, simplified gas detectors such as detector tubes and sensors have been used. In fieldwork, simple measurement methods may not be adopted due to the influence of coexisting gas. In such a case, the on-site operator needs to sample the gas and send the sample to the laboratory.
