An environmentally beneficial and pollutant-free method of making silver nanoparticles, green synthesis of metal nanoparticles utilising natural resources like Datura innoxia is a difficult alternative to chemical synthesis. Current research on green synthesis demonstrates that the medicinal plant D. innoxia can be employed as a capping and reducing agent for the manufacture of silver nanoparticles. If the solutions containing the silver nanoparticles are stored in a light-proof environment, the above-mentioned process produces silver nanoparticles that are quite stable and do not show any noticeable changes even after about a month.
